Hope: Accessible Pandora Link

Pandora is a very popular program that allows users to set up various radio stations, based on their musical preferences, both by individual artist and or specific genres.

Chris Toth, a visually impaired developer has made a program called Hope that allows those that use screen reading technology (i.e. Jaws) to use Pandora. Without this program, Pandora radio site is almost completely unusable by those who use a screen reading technology, as they rely on Adobe’s extensive use of Flash technology, to deliver all of the usable web content and adjustments to account options and the music player.

Hope is only $10.00 which includes updates.

Chris Toth also developed Qwitter, a third party application layer gateway for the popular social networking site, Twitter.
